Worrals Investigates by W. E. Johns was first published in 1950 by Lutterworth Press. It was the 11th and last Worrals novel. As far as is known, there has only ever been one edition in English.

In 1970, French publisher Aredit published a two-part comic strip adaptation of the story entitled Une nouvelle mission and L'île interdite. The two albums were issues 31 and 32 respectively in Aredit's small format comic series for girls Tina.

Synopsis[]

A group of women appear to be occupying a remote atoll in the South Pacific which had been thought to be uninhabited. No one knows who they are and what they are doing there but when they begin shooting at innocent visitors to the atoll to drive them away, Air Commodore Raymond asks Frecks and Worrals to investigate.
