The Case of the Missing Constable is the sixth short story in the fifth anthology of Biggles Air Police short stories which is entitled Biggles' Chinese Puzzle. The anthology was first published in May, 1955 by Brockhampton. In the anthology, this story is preceded by The Mystery of the Torn Parachute and followed by The Case of the Secret Inquisitors.

Synopsis[]

Biggles and Ginger investigate the mysterious disappearance of a village constable. A newspaper has offered a thousand pounds for the discovery of the body.
