The Case of the Flying Clown is the ninth short story in the fourth anthology of Biggles Air Police short stories entitled Biggles and the Pirate Treasure. The anthology was first published in July, 1954 by Brockhampton. In the anthology, this story is preceded by The Case of the Lunatic at Large and followed by The Case of the Phone Box Murder.
Synopsis[]
What is an war-mongering industrialist doing investing in a circus. Things get even more worrisome when the circus is due to perform for the World Peace Conference in Paris. War-mongering and Peace Conferences do not mix.
