L'Oasis perdue 1 (The Lost Oasis 1) was a graphic novel published in French by the Belgian publisher Miklo in August 2000.

This is the tenth title in a series which started out being published by Lefrancq with Miklo taking over from the sixth title onwards. Like some of the previous titles, it did not feature a plot based on the works of W.E. Johns. The story was written by Michel Oleffe and the artwork was drawn by Frank Leclercq. As with other books in the series, Oleffe and Lefranq had a female lead character in the story. In this case, she is a top German secret service agent, but her name is not Marie!

L'Oasis perdue 1 was the first part of a two-part story arc, which concluded with L'Oasis perdue 2 published in July 2001. Both were not translated into English until 2007 when Euro Books (India) published translations.

The story takes place in 1936 but it already features Bertie, making up four in the team.

Biggles and co. take up a job to train pilots for the Egyptian Air Force but end up being asked to investigate mysterious German activities in the desert. Although this story has some similar plot elements to Biggles Flies South, it is a totally different story and not an adaptation at all.
