Dawn Patrol is the ninth short story in the eighth anthology of Biggles Air Police short stories entitled Biggles Flies to Work. The anthology was first published in September, 1963. In the anthology, this story is preceded by A Routine Job and followed by The Trick That Failed.

Synopsis[]

While out on a dawn patrol, Ginger spots an aircraft which quickly dodges into cloud cover. Things begin to look even more suspicious when it turns out the aircraft was using false registration markings.
