Derivative series

The continuing popularity of Biggles has naturally led to a number of derivative works either featuring the character of Biggles, or research and scholarly works about Johns and his novels. Elswhere, Biggles also spawned board games, a television series, a movie and a postage stamp.

And, as if to prove his international appeal, some of these works were first written and published in other languages and then translated into English. Some die-hard Biggles fans consider such works non-canonical but for others, especially serious collectors, they are valuable and worthy additions to their shelves.
