All in the Day's Work is the sixth short story in Biggles Takes the Case. The anthology, the second one about Biggles in the Air Police, was published in 1952. This particular story is believed to have made its debut in the anthology. It was subsequently reprinted in The Children's Jolly Book published by Odhams Press in 1953. In the anthology, the story is preceded by African Assignment and followed by The Case of the Secret Aerofoil.
The story has been adapted in comic form as All in a Day's Work in Issue 6 of the Adventures of Biggles comic series published by Action Comics of Sydney, Australia.
